In certain situations, you may prefer to manually invite a client to the Client Portal. This can be done alongside any other documentation or letter you need to send. Follow these steps to send a personalized invite to your client:

Steps:

  1. Craft Your Email:

    • Start by drafting a new email message to your client. You can combine the invitation with any other documentation or important information you need to send.
  2. Personalize the Email:

    • Address your client by name and explain the advantages of using the Client Portal. Let them know they'll be able to easily access their job site updates, photos, and more.

  4. Inform the Client About Required Information:

    • Let the client know they will need their JobNumber and Email Address to access the portal. Be sure to include instructions for entering these details on the portal's sign-up page.

     

    • Send the Invitation:

      • Once everything is set, send the email to your client along with any other necessary documentation or communication.

    Important Note: The Client Portal invitation link will expire in 24 hours, so remind the client to sign up as soon as they receive the email.
